To Mr. Campbell and Family. My heart fell when I saw that Barb had passed. I only knew Barb for a very short time but it was enough to see that in spite of all of the challenges she was facing she radiated love which was reciprocated by everyone she knew. I only hope that I am as blessed as Barb in my life.

So shocked to hear of the passing of Barb! I met her at the “Y” and she was a big part of me deciding to join the “Y”.
I was amazed at the scope of fitness she provided as a volunteer! Her smile and happy face kept me coming back. I was sad when she cut back because of her knee, but then she still continued with the Friday class!
She gave me encouraging words during my recovery from pancreatic cancer and we talked on occasion about family member’s who were in the same fight!
She will be a great loss to the family and to those grandchildren…she was so proud and loved them so!
Did not see Barb after covid arrive and the “Y” closed ..But I can see her smile and still feel the big hug she gave 10 years ago! Gone too soon Love Diane Ryan

I am so sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. I knew her through the Y. She was one of the nicest people! I introduced myself once after one of her bike classes (which, by the way, were so much fun you forgot it was good for you). She remembered my name after that and never failed to say a cheerful hello or take time for a chat when our paths crossed at the Y or in town. I have immense admiration for her grace, dignity, humour and optimism. My condolences to her family and friends. Our community is a sadder place without her.

Words cannot express how sad we are that Barb has passed away. She was such an important part of our family...Our partner in raising our girls, our number one fan and support system for almost thirty years. Birthdays, holidays, special occasions and times in between will not be the same without her and her incredible sense of humour, outgoing nature and kind heart. She will be deeply, deeply missed.
