Obituary of James Silas Hector Snider

Snider, James Silas Hector Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday July 26th 2021 at the age of 77. Born in Sebright Ontario and predeceased by his parents Herman and Muriel Snider (nee Hargrave). Dear father of Jim Jr.–deceased (Tracy), Bill (Natasha), and Jeannene (Cory). Proud grandfather of Gabriel, Gavin, Jillian, Ryan, Kyle, Tania, Eric, Jessie, Travis; great grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Nettie-deceased, Dan-decease, Ive (Lorna), Roy (Shirley)-deceased, Irven (Gloria- deceased), Joe (Marion) - deceased, Ida, May (Glen), Bert (Louise-deceased), and Herb (Wanda). Jim will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephew’s, family and friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a service will be held at Lake Dalrymple Cemetery, 474 Lake Dalrymple Road on Saturday August 14th 2021 at 12:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia (705) 327-0221.
