Dear Lynda & family, I have written and re-written this email multiple times-it isn't the same as in person, however, I am unable to be at the visitaton and service but wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you and have been with you since I learned of Wally's passing. I have so many memories of Wally, and yes, there are those that were the challenging ones, but it is the ones full of laughter that I will cherish for years to come....Wally's "dancing" down the hall...Wally playing bingo-or calling bingo depending on the day....Wally waiting "patiently" for Lynda to come and take him out for a drive....Wally singing....Wally teasing the staff....Wally proposing to the staff, and reminding them "don't tell Lynda"....so much more, but one of the most special memories will always be that amazing Santa suit you found for him Lynda last Christmas.....Wally as the ECU Santa for the Christmas luncheon and his laughter taking pictures with you, staff and friends....what fun he had....what fun we had....I am honoured to have known Wally and to have been given the privilege to care for him...hold on to Wally's laughter-I know I will....wishing you comfort at this difficult time, Tracey Horne ECU Nurse Manager
