Obituary of Robin Braid

Braid Robert Cameron “Robin” Passed away Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday May 30th 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Wilma Braid (nee McLean) for 58years. Loving father of Roslyn, Alexander (Carla), John (Lauri), Gordon – predeceased, Stuart (Sharon) and Isabel (Kevin). Proud grandfather of, Natalie, Kayla (Jon), Nicholas (Sydney), Justin, Connor, Alexandria and great grandfather of Davidson, Hannah, Shaelyn and Brantley. Dear brother of Linda, Peter and Alexander – all predeceased. Robin will be missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. The family would like to offer a big thank you to all the nurses and PSW’s at Bayshore and a special thank you to Katherine who has been with Robin over the past 3 years. Also, thank you to all the nurses and doctors at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Robin’s life will be held at a later date when family and friends can gather safely.
