We send condolences to all of the family. We are part of the Minds In Motion Zoom group that enjoyed Darrell's participation this winter. He always had ideas and could enter into the "conversation" of the day with the help of a daughter standing by.
We will miss him as part of our little group, and we share in your grief at this time of loss.

I will always remember Darrell for his smile and kindness. He was always a delight to chat with in the workroom, and share a donut with on Birthdays. He worked hard to keep the comm tech program working so well. Deepest condolences to the family.

Darrell was a long-time colleague of probably close to 20 years! Being the German teacher at school, he always loved to practice his German with me:) and I was forever seeking him out for tech support! I will miss him very much.

Darrell was an amazing person and a great colleague. He was able to fit into the tech department because of how easy-going he was. Darrell would often come down to the office to help us finish the hard crossword puzzles and partake in the donuts that we brought in for our birthdays. We had the opportunity to see Darrell the Tuesday after his birthday when Christine and Claire helped Darrell bring in donuts for his birthday. We joked around with Darrell and even though Darrell couldn't speak we all saw in his eyes and his thumbs up that he was glad to be back into OSS. Darrell will be missed greatly and we will never forget the contributions he made to make education better. God Bless Darrell.

We are so saddened to hear of Darrell's passing. Our prayers are with the family. Such fond memories of times at the University Of Guelph and Calvary Baptist Church's College and Career ministry. Music trivia and one-liner puns were always being volleyed back and forth. Impressions of famous voices and philosphical discussioins were also highlights of our time together as friends. I am so lucky to have been taught by Mr Goddard for both grade 11 and 12 Physics. He had the best science jokes and was very passionate about the subject! It made the class very enjoyable. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace.

Darrell and I were besties in elementary school with many fun times and memories and while we drifted apart into our adulthood we would often see each other at OSS while I worked there. I’m so saddened reading this. Rest In Peace. My sincere condolences to the family.
