Obituary of Gordon Charles Humphrey

Humphrey, Gordon Charles Passed away peacefully at Tiffin Retirement Residence, Midland, Ontario, on Saturday December 19th, 2020 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of Fairlie (nee Lasseter) for 53 years. Much beloved father of Cindy Lapiere (Bernard), Paul Humphrey and Heather Schell (Tim). Proud grandfather of Andy and Perry McCallum, Billie-Joe McEdward, Alicia Evans, Kayliegh and Damian Westlake, great grandfather of 11 and great great grandfather of 5, and his nieces. Predeceased by his siblings Bill (Joan), Ann and Edward. Gord will be dearly missed by his family and large circle of friends. Gord was a Second World War veteran, and a proud member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Geneva Lodge #320 Orillia. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Tiffin Retirement Residence and the staff of Georgian Bay General Hospital for the care that Gord received. Following Gord's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment at St. Margaret's Cemetery, Scarborough.
