I feel privileged to have known Derek over the years, and am intensely saddened by his death and the tragic circumstances surrounding it. He was a remarkable person, and so willing to help others. I offer my deepest condolences to his family and friends, with the hope that you will be comforted by the memories you have of your times together.

My heart goes out to Robert, Barbara and the entire family. Words can’t express the empathy I have for you over your loss.
