Back in the 80s I worked with Joan at the Ontario Securities Commission. I remember her sense of humour and that she was always so kind and helpful to me. It was one of my first jobs and her desk was right near mine. We didn't keep in touch, but I'm glad to know she lived a long and happy life as we each went on in our separate directions. My sympathy to all of her family.
