Norma Jean Coleman UE
1927-2020
On May 3, 2020, at age 92, Norma Coleman (Smith) passed away peacefully at Spencer House in Orillia ON. A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, ON, she attended Lundy’s Lane P.S. and Stamford C.V.I. and was a member of Lundy’s Lane United Church and later, St. Davids-Queenston United Church. Married in 1946 to James, they were together 65yrs until his passing in 2011. Cherished mother to Joanne Arbour (Roger) and Donna Coleman, proud grandmother to Emma Sturm, Ava Sturm and Ross Arbour, and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by sisters Ora Crooks, Doris Austin, Evelyn Green, brother Vernon Smith, and niece Shirley Allen.
Norma loved all things music, playing piano since childhood, joining the church chimes choir, and always singing a tune. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and her cardclub with friends for over 60 years. As a member of the John Butler UELAC, she was proud of her United Empire Loyalist heritage.
