Obituary of Dan Fountain

Fountain, Robert Daniel ‘Dan’ Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday January 19th, 2020 in his 66th year. Dan was born in Orillia to the late Carl and Ona Fountain. Beloved husband of Dorothy Fountain (nee Cranney) for 42 years. Dear brother of Ken (Kim), Nancy Tyms (Dave), and Tim (Wanda); brother in law of Peg (Ron), Owen (Patty), Paul (Patti), Lyle (Diane). Dan will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Dear son in law of Bob Cranney (Joan –predeceased). Dan will be dearly missed by his faithful companion Molly. A Celebration of Dan’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 619 9767 Hwy. 12 west Warminster on Saturday February 1st 2020 from 2 to 5 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes association through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia.
