Des Barres: Les At his home on Tuesday January 21st , 2020 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys Des Barres (nee Murphy). Loving father of Terry DesBarres (Cindy), Brenda MacDougall (Neil) and David Desbarres (Shaina). Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren and great grandfather to 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Gerald DesBarres, Joan Burke (Carvel), Emmeson DesBarres, Donald DesBarres (Mary), Barbara McPhee, Arnold DesBarres - pre deceased and Burnell DesBarres – pre deceased Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Les’ Life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Sunday February 16th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Orillia OSPCA through the Simcoe Funeral Home.
