Dear Terry and Joanne,
My prayers and condolences are with you and your family. Dan and Jeff were were very much loved by me for being exemplary role models for young boys in the community. I will always remember Jeff for being very kind and protective. God Bless you and your family. Alva Reger.

I am very sorry to have heard of Jeff's sudden passing. I worked for a short time with Jeff on an investigation in the Kingston area a number of years ago. We shared some laughs and I believe a beer or two. He was a very nice guy and no doubt will be very dearly missed.

To The Harmer Family and Friends.
I was very fortunate to have worked with Jeff many years ago when I was in Chapleau and he was posted to Foleyet.
I was very saddened to hear that he has crossed over, but also rest assured that he is at peace.
I have found the following passage helpful when dealing with, or trying to understand death.
Its called All Is Well;
"Death is nothing at all …… I have only slipped away into the next room …… I am I, and you are you ….Whatever we are to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name , speak to me in the easy way you always used. Put no difference in your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, Pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect, without the ghost of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near just around the corner . . . All Is Well."
Rest in Peace Brother.
See you on the other side.

When your day is long
And the night
The night is yours alone
When you're sure you've had enough
Of this life
Well hang on
Don't let yourself go
'cause everybody cries
And everybody hurts sometimes
Sometimes everything is wrong
Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone (hold on)
(Hold on) if you feel like letting go (hold on)
If you think you've had to much
of this life
Well, hang on
RIP Friend.
Love, Jeff, Lisa, TJ, Jordi, Jarrod and Riley

Dear Heather, I believe we were in the same recruit class at OPC In 2001 and if I remember correctly you were with peel regional police. I remember you distinctly because you were very kind and you don’t ever forget kind people that you meet in your life. I was also with the OPP and you and I ran beside each other a few times on the indoor treadmill and I believe Jeff was your boyfriend at the time. You introduced him to me when he came to visit you at the college as I believe he was already a member of the OPP. It was a long time ago and there are so many people in the recruit class you probably wouldn’t remember me but I just wanted to pass on my condolences to you and your entire family. Wishing you and your family strength and comfort in the days and weeks ahead.
Sincerely,
Dave Opatovsky
