Obituary of Douglas Sumner

Sumner:  John Douglas (Doug)
Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Monday August 26th, 2019 in his 92nd year.  Beloved husband of the late Marjory Sumner (nee Powis). Loving father of Michael Sumner (Jeanne) and Paul Sumner. Cherished grandad to Ilia (Ian), Kory, Eli, Leila and Jamie (Kousha).  Great grandad to Raya and Shae. Dear brother of Beverly (predeceased) and (John) Wright. Fondly remembered by Renee Swanson Sumner and his dear friend Diana Hochmann. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 21st at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia from 1 to 4 pm.
