It is with broken hearts, that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Jeff at the age of 44, while living his passion of flying. Jeff was born in Richmond Hill ON to Brenda Aitken (nee Morris) and the late William Mavor. Beloved husband of Kathy (nee Ivens). Proud and loving father of Elizabeth, Nicole, Natalie, Aleesha, Joseph and Grace Mavor. Dear brother of Jenny Sisson. Stepbrother to Jeff Aitken (Tanya) and Kim Phillips (Sean).  Also lovingly remembered by his “like a brother” Shawn Gilpin (Vanessa).  Brother-in law to Barb Ivens (Brian Higgs).  Cherished uncle of Luke, Hannah, and James as well as Madison, Eden, Alexandra, Nicholas, Brandon, Blake and Hudson. Jeff will be dearly missed by the aviation community and by his family and many friends. We take peace in the assurance that he is at home with his Heavenly Father. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church-265 Coldwater Road West Orillia on Wednesday August 14th at 1 p.m. A reception and time of visitation will follow.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donation may be made to Kathy and her children c/o Go Fund Me “Heroic Husband and Father Lost Saving Family”.
