At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer on Friday May 17th, 2019 in her 65th year.   Beloved wife of Lee Harvey of 45 years. Much loved mother of Jessica Harvey (Brent Peterson) and Jody Duncan. Cherished grandmother to Logan. Loving daughter of Basil and Glenys Hepinstall and daughter in law of Isobel Harvey. Dear sister of Glenn (Lynda), Cory (Kelley), Cindy-Lou (David), Janalea, Sherri (Dale), Rick, Brian (Edie) and Barbara (Paul). Laurie will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Soldiers’ One for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family of Laurie invite friends and family to celebrate her life and share their favourite memories on July 13, 2019 from 12:30 to 3:30​ at the Washago Community Centre, 4361 Hamilton St.  Washago, ON.  ​Light lunch will be served. Memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
