Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Shores Care Community, Gravenhurst on Saturday June 2nd 2018 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Anita (nee Stonehouse). Loving father of William-deceased (Pat), Robert (Dianne), Jack-deceased (Gwen—deceased), Sharon Howes (Earl deceased), and Nancy Hill (Ted). Loving grandfather of Chris (Mary), Kelly (Julie), Marcea (Darren), Stacey (Troy), Shawna (Shaun), Kim (Mark); great grandfather of Lexi, Kristian, Cassie, Samantha, Ashley, Braeden, Kylie; great great grandfather of Desmond. Bill is predeceased by his siblings Marjorie (Ab), Charles (Dorothy), and Ken (Vi). Bill was an avid ice fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed playing his harmonica and attending country dances. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Tribute Service for Veterans will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 Orillia at 215 Mississauga Street E. Orillia on Sunday June 10th at 1:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of his life.
