Thomson: John Eddie (Jack)
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday May 29th, 2018. Jack has gone home to be with his heavenly father. Beloved husband of Verna Thomson (nee Benner) for 64 years. Loving father of John (pre deceased) (Carol), Doug (Dorothy), Jim (Judy) and Leslie Hewitt (Murray). Cherished grandfather of Justin, Kurtis, Jordan, Aaron (Sheri) Sarah (Jeremy), Joshua (Amber), Joanna, Drew (Lydia), Kelsey (Mike), Kacey, Kaleb, Brodie (pre deceased) and Brett. Great grandfather to Carter, Devon, Emmett, Owen, Wesley, Tyson, Damian, David, Isaiah, Adelynn and Primrose. Jack will surely be missed by his many friends and family.
Visitation will be held at the Hillside Bible Chapel – 195 Atlantic Drive, Orillia on Saturday June 2nd from 12:30 until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe, Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital or the Hillside Bible Chapel would be appreciated by the family.
