Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 15th, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Doris Fitzner (nee Osmond). Loving father of John Fitzner (Judy), Doris Johannes (Ron), Doug Fitzner (Wanda), and Anne Fitzner . Dear grandfather of Jimmy, Louise, Joey; great grandfather of Courtney, Alyssa, Ashley, and Chantelle. George is predeceased by his sibling. George will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of George’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 34, 215 Mississaga St. E. Orillia on Saturday March 17th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
