Passed away at his home in Ramara on Thursday October 26th, 2017 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Elsie Cleaveley (nee Handy). Loving father of Rita (Joe) Beemer, Howard Cleaveley and his partner Tammy Ainsworth, and Brian (Tina) Cleaveley. Predeceased by his daughter Tina Cleaveley. Proud grandfather of Douglas Beemer (Samantha), Jessie (Nick) Laurier, Hope Cleaveley-Laurier, Jason Cleaveley, Brooklyn Ainsworth-Cleaveley, Adam Cleaveley, and Ryan Ainsworth Cleaveley; Great grandfather of Nevaeh. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Adeline Cleaveley. Dear brother of Dolly (Jim) Mathews, Lila Beemer, Mary (John) Hargrave, John Cleaveley; predeceased by his brothers Jim, Bill (Helen deceased), and Charlie (Ruth survived).  Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Monday October 30th, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Udney Cemetery.
