Obituary of Lena Pearl Beemer

Beemer: Lena Pearl (nee Cleaveley)

After a courageous battle with cancer, Lena passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday October 25th, 2017 in her 73rd year.  Lena Beemer was born November 12th, 1944 in Orillia, ON. Loving wife and lifetime soul mate of 50 years to the late Leslie Henry Beemer. Loving mother of Jonathon (predeceased), Donald (Dana), Lorne (Barb) (Michelle), Murray.   Loving Grandma of Jonathan, Delena, Chris, Danielle, Kayla and Christine.  Beloved daughter of the late Gladys and John Cleaveley. Loving daughter in law of Ruby Beemer and the late Donald Beemer. Cherished sister of David (predeceased), Marjorie, Ralph (Bonnie), Tom (Debbie), Ken (Lisa), Stephen (Kelly). Beloved sister in law of Clifford (Bernice), Victor (Marie), Randy (Debbie), David (Janice). Predeceased by loving sisters and brothers in laws Debbie, Fred, Murray, Helen (Bill). Lena will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude towards all of the healthcare professionals who gave compassionate care to Lena during this difficult journey.

Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street E. Orillia on Friday October 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9  p.m.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Saturday October 28th at 1:00 p.m. Interment Udney Cemetery.
