Peacefully at his residence in Lagoon City with his family by his side on Sunday October 22nd 2017 in his 77th year.  Beloved husband of Dorothea Luker (nee Metcalfe) of 55 years.  Loving father of Dawn Carriere and Shelley Pointon (Bob).  Cherished grandfather of Wil and Laura.  Gary will be lovingly missed by his many family and friends.  

A celebration of life will be held at The Lake House, 600 Liverpool Road, Pickering Ontario on Saturday November 18th from 1-4 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
