Obituary of Anne Mary Jay

Jay: Anne Mary (nee Romanko)

Passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton on Wednesday September 13th, 2017 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late George Jay (2010).  Loving mother of Gail Beaudry (Paul), Brian Harris (Patricia), the late Gordon Harris (Jean), and the late Joan Guilfoil (late Bob); and predeceased by their father Joseph Harris (1993). Cherished grandmother of Tiana (Ilmar), Sandi (Ken), Peter (Rosanna), Darren, Michelle, Christopher (Kari), Duane (Katrina), Nicci (Mark), and Stacey (William); great grandmother of Daina, Matthew, Caitlin, Leo, Emerson, Jordon, Mackenzie, Ethan, Ryan, Luke .  Dear sister of Stella Lee, Una Novosky-Wallace, Joe Romanko (Maggie); predeceased by Steven, Jack, Fred and Helen. Anne will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Monday September 18th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Orillia.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Durham Region or to a charity of your choice.   Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
