Dear Gary and Grant, we are deeply sorry to hear of Gloria's death. Although we haven't seen much of her lately, she was always one of our favourite cousins. She always seemed so quiet and 'mature' when I was young. My mother, Joy Flanagan, always loved her visits with her niece and spoke so highly of her. I shall never forget my first visit with Gloria. She was always searching out new friends. Her smiles and hugs were contagious. She was a precious and loving lady with a child-like approach each time she acknowledged my presence. Her memory is etched in my mind and heart. I am truly blessed by having known Gloria and Gary. May God take care of you, Gary, and all who loved Gloria in Canada and USA.

Gary, you and Gloria are two of my favorite friends from IW. I remember good things about Gloria namely, her stamina, her smile, her friendliness, her precious life in the park caring so much for you, her dog and her friends. She beckoned me to visit with her when you first came to IW and I didn't know her name at that time but I shall never forget her welcome smile and her asking me to visit because she was curious about so many things.
