Obituary of Hank Van Kuik

Van Kuik, Hendrikus Isidorus Cornelius“Hank” “Henky”

Passed away at his home in Orillia, with his family by his side, on Tuesday June 6th, 2017 in his 85th year.  Husband of Maria ( nee Vander Mark) for 62 years. Loving father of Hilma Langman ( Jim ex- husband), Marina Maitland (Chris), and Patricia Van Kuik. The BEST grandfather of Chris, Nic, Bridget, Jay, Kamyle, Karmyl; Doting great grandfather of Ayden and Nikko. Dear brother to John (Shirley), Reit (Harry), Will (Segrid), Joe (Marian), Nico (Pat), Bernard, Casey. Predeceased by brothers Ted (Reit), Gerry, Andrew and Parents Johannes and Hisliena Van Kuik . Hank will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.  At Hank’s request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. There will be a get together in celebration of his life, on his birthday, June 23rd from 1 – 4 pm at Hilma’s place.  All stories are welcome.

Memorial donations may be made to Soldiers Memorial Hospital, RVH Cancer Care, CCAC , the care and support Dad received was beyond exemplary.   We would like to thank Dr. Mike for the compassionate  care he gave to our Dad…. There are no words….
