Howe, Harvey Albert

Peacefully at his home in Orillia, with family by his side, on Wednesday May 17th, 2017 in his 77th year. Much loved husband of Bonnie (nee Gibbs) of 54 years. Loving father of Allan (Gloria) and Tammie Jones (Doug). Proud grandfather of Kent (Jenny), Sarah (Danny), Tyler, Alli (Brad), Matt (Jessie), Andrea, Hilton and Ashley. Great grandfather of Tate, Nash, Jack, Taydum, Owen, Zoe, Will, Alexander and Kaitlyn. Special "Papa" to Lila and Audrey. Devoted son of the late Albert "Red" and Sarah Howe. Dear brother of Gord, William and Gayle. Predeceased by siblings Ross, Wesley, Lloyd and Shirley. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to say a special thank-you to Dr. Fagan, Dr. Campbell, Stewart Blackwell and the staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital for their care during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East Orillia on Saturday May 20th from 1-4 pm and on Sunday May 21st from 12:30 pm until time of service at 1:30 pm.
