Obituary of Barbara Gertrude Spencer

Spencer, Barbara Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Thursday April 20th, 2017 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Macdonald. Much loved partner of Ron English. Loving mother of Linda Hrynyk (Larry Brown), Heather Macdonald (Ron Maher), and Leonard Macdonald (Behnaz Ghazanfari). Proud grandmother of Kyle, Christopher, and Carly; great grandmother of Parker. Dear sister of Mary Fotheringham, Pat (Orville) Chapman, Shirley (Jim) Doherty, Kathleen Walsh, James Connors, Michael (Janet) Connors, Jerry (Rita) Connors . Barbara will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Tuesday April 25th, 2017 at 1 p.m. A reception and time of visitation will follow. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
