Obituary of Marilyn Scowcroft

Scowcroft, Marilyn Anne (Gracie) Peacefully at her home Big Cedar Estates, Oro Medonte on Wednesday March 22nd 2017 in her 68th year. Beloved wife of the late Sam Scowcroft. Loving mother and best friend of Marnie Malone. Cherished grandmother to Aiden, who was the light of her life. Predeceased by her parents Marjorie and Raymond Grace and her brother Brian Grace. Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her chosen sisters Donna Mathieson, Margaret Clements, Nancy Morphy and all their families. She will also be remembered by her family in the Ottawa area. Marilyn’s charismatic personality and passion for life garnered her many friends from all walks of life. A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday April 1st 2017 from 1 until 3 p.m. Words of tribute remembering Marilyn will be held at 1:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
